Newest Elementary School Set to Open This Fall!

Wilburton Elementary School is preparing to open its doors this August 30, 2018, as the newest addition to the Bellevue School District. This new facility, spanning approximately 82,000 square feet, is strategically located near Downtown Bellevue and aims to ease overcrowding at Enatai, Woodridge, and Clyde Hill Elementary Schools. In addition to traditional school hours, the school will offer before and after school programs for kindergarten through 5th grade and preschool programs for children ages 3 to 5. The community is encouraged to participate in an Ice Cream Social on June 5, 2018, at Bellevue Downtown Park, where attendees will get a first look at the school's mascot and colors. Furthermore, a PTA Charter Member Meeting will be held on June 13, 2018, to foster community involvement. This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing educational resources in the area and ensuring that local students have access to quality education. With a robust support system, the school aims to build a strong community from its inception. The anticipation surrounding the opening of Wilburton Elementary reflects the growing needs of the Bellevue community.
