Bellevue Adventure Park with climbing wall and expanded aerial course opens

Bellevue Adventure Park officially opened its new Aerial Park and climbing wall on Saturday at the South Bellevue Community Center. The Aerial Park features 27 elements, including cargo nets and swaying bridges, with a continuous belay system that enhances safety and visitor capacity. SBCC manager Dave Glenn stated that the park fosters play and confidence-building in a supportive environment. The climbing wall rises 36 feet and offers both traditional and auto belays for climbers of all skill levels. The park also retains its popular Zipline Tour, allowing riders to zip through the trees at speeds up to 35 mph across seven zip lines. Bellevue Adventures offers customizable experiences, including individual reservations or combination day passes for all park elements. The city has operated a challenge course and zip line at SBCC for over a decade, but the old course reached the end of its life span in 2023, necessitating this upgrade. Bellevue Adventures additionally runs team-building programs for various groups, utilizing the new facilities for enhanced collaboration and engagement.
